Brighton Jewelry Review

Brighton is known for its exquisitely crafted women’s handbags, jewelry, and charms for bracelets, along with many other stylish accessories. Brighton was launched in 1991 by Jerry and Terri Kohl. Over the years, it has evolved into an extensive line of stylish products that accessorize women from head to toe. Now, the Los Angeles-based company has over 180 stores around the United States. Brighton products can also be found at several other boutiques, as well as their online store, Brighton.com.

Also called Brighton Collectibles, this company anchors its inspiration in focusing on details and crafting with care. They also place a lot of emphasis on cultivating an outstanding customer shopping experience. They are very good at keeping up with the latest fashion trends. Brighton’s products are a little on the pricier side but their products are pretty high quality.

Most of what you’ll see in Brighton’s window display is handbags. But if you walk into one of their stores, you’ll find they sell many other items—including a full jewelry collection.

Jewelry designs and styles

Bracelets

One signature piece of Brighton style is unique charm bracelets.

A chunky charm bracelet gives off a rustic look that vintage jewelry enthusiasts love! The throwback design is a fun way to personalize your details by adding charms of your choice.

An interesting twist Brighton offers is including colorful leather inserts designed to fit their cuff bracelet styles (and some of their necklaces). This design lets you customize your look to match your outfit or your mood.

And when you remove the insert, it will look like a completely different bracelet!

Brighton also carries bead bracelets, leather bracelets, colorful cord bracelets, and a variety of bangles.

Necklaces

Most of Brighton’s necklaces feature a charm or pendant of some kind, which makes sense from a brand specializing in charms.

You’ll also find plenty of locket necklaces and some with a large Swarovski pearl as a focal point in place of a pendant.

Although Brighton’s necklace designs can’t truly be called “delicate” or “dainty,” some of their more lightweight pieces can be layered if paired tastefully with the right match.

Rings

Most of Brighton’s rings are quite large. However, the brand does hop onto the ring-stacking trend by offering slimmer rings in sets for convenient pairing.

Rings are silver plated and often set with Swarovski stones, whether large and eye-catching or smaller stones set in a wide pavé-style band.

Although they do feature some interesting shapes, there’s not a lot of variety among Brighton rings—most of them stick to the same bulky, statement aesthetic.

Would you enjoy Brighton jewelry? It all depends on your personal taste and quality preferences. If you don’t gravitate towards statement jewelry, you’ll probably want to pass on Brighton’s collection. But if you love Brighton designs and simply can’t resist, then they might be worth your while.
